Best Table Top Propane Heater For 2015
Napoleon Tabletop Patio Heater

Construction – Made from 304-grade stainless steel the Napoleon won’t corrode or rust in an outdoor setting. It also allows for easy clean up and has the look and feel of a more expensive commercial model. BTU’s – On the higher end of the table top heater BTU range, the Napoleon can output up to 11,000 BTU’s. Heating Radius – This model is capable of heating a 7’x7′ diameter making it one of the largest heating radius’ on the market. Safety Features – The patio heater has several safety features including a flame failure device and a safety switch so it turns off in case the heater is tipped over. Ignition – There is a battery operated push button electronic ignition system.
Runner Up
Fire Sense 61322 Hammer Tone Table Top Patio Heater
We’ve selected the Fire Sense Hammer Tone Patio Heater as our runner-up based on its value, style, and customer reviews. While it doesn’t feel as beefy as the Napolean model its bronze finish is eye catching and compliments existing outdoor decor well. At 10,000 BTU’s it is capable of heating a 6×6 diameter and runs on a standard 1 pound propane tank. One tank will last about 3 hours at top consumption.

This thing works like a champ! I highly recommend you can get the cord so you can use a normal large propane tank while operating it though. The little bottles don’t seem to last very. It doesn’t just heat our picnic table, it heats our ENTIRE two car garage.
See It In Action!
Hi Ryan
Living in Zürich, the biggest city of Switzerland, outdoor heaters belong to the urban accessoire. Since I like to smoke cigars or a pipe, I appreciate the possibility to stay under a warm umbrella 😉
Through your website I got in touch with table versions for the first time. A really good idea. If I had a garden or a backyard I would buy one.
Cheers, Stefan
Cheers Stefan…thanks for stopping by!
Hi Ryan,
I never thought of getting a table top heater for my patio. When it’s too cold, I stay inside, but then again I’m from Canada! I have a few friends that use a wood stove to keep themselves warm on chilly evenings.
From what I can see, if you’re planning to eat outdoors, you might need to put your table top heater on a side table, because the heater seems to take a lot of space, so not much room for your dishes!
I have a small patio area, so, which top table heater do you recommend? The Napoleon Tabletop Patio Heater or the Fire Sense Hammer Tone Patio Heater?
Thanks,
Sonia
Hi Sonia – Thanks for stopping by the site. Both the Napoleon and Fire Sense get excellent reviews so I would say pick the style you like most. You can’t go wrong with either one. We’ve also reviewed full size patio heaters which maybe better suited for your space. Stay warm this winter.
Thanks Ryan for your recommendation! 🙂
